Change the world.

There are many social issues that can be easily solved within our lifetime. The solutions to end poverty, illiteracy and other social issues can be realized if we can imagine the possibilities.

We also feel that technology can play a huge part in these solutions and we think we can help.

This section of our website contains information on projects that we have either initiated or are a part of.

If you have a project that can use our marketing/advertising and technology help, please send a detailed email to info@newagecanada.com.

Maybe something here will inspire you.

desiFEST

This was our first year producing the event. The vision behind this is to create an event that bridges the traditional values of South Asian art, culture and music and the evolution of this culture over the last 15 years in Canada.

We pulled in a record 15,500 people. We were covered in all media outlets across the city. While it was a good street festival, desiFEST also delivered some key messages.

  • We have a lot of artist in the city without an outlet.
  • Art/Music has evolved and YET kept its roots.
  • The South Asian community is starving for these events.

Uma Foundation

Each year the number of highly qualified immigrants that come to Canada is growing. They cannot contribute immediately because we do not recognize their education or experience and the process to get recognized is not clear and is incredibly long. In the meantime, Canada has a shortage of these skill sets. Companies are in need of their services.

Uma Foundation hopes to speed up the process and enable faster integration of these people into the system. Working with local and national government agencies, UMA Foundation hopes to create a process by which new immigrants can get their help they need to start contributing to the economy.
